Both the dinner menu and also the cocktail menu from this Bali Hai are loaded with tropical island imagery and greetings beckoning its patrons to their "Isle of Enchantment". Interesting, though, that neither menu has an address or any mention of where this dining paradise was located !

From the inside of this 1962 dinner menu:

"Welcome to Bali Hai - the Isle of Enchantment. A land of throbbing rhythms, strange imagery, soft breeze and softer song. An island where life floats along, indolent, languorous, with the thrum of ukuleles or the thudding beat of a gourd, swaying palms, the stillness of a lagoon. From this isle, we will start your voyage to the many out-flung islands in the wondrous Pacific. We hope you will feel the unhurried tempo of the soft trade-winds and enjoy your visit to the Bali Hai with pleasure and relaxation.

Your own personal Island Vahine awaits your beckoning to serve your slightest whims. Starting at your leisure, she sets before you a multitude of beautiful Polynesian tidbits."
