Henry Fink's Club Samoa was located at 62 West 52nd St., in New York City. It was one of the many popular supper clubs that opened on the same block of 52nd Street (nicknamed "Swing Street") in the late 1930's- early 1940's. It was just across from The Onyx, and Jimmy Ryan's. Other popular jazz clubs on the street were the 21 Club, Toots Shor, Leon and Eddies, The Bluenote, and the Club Carousel.

This early postcard, showing the bar area with several styles of tapa and trimmed out in bamboo, probably dates from the early 1940's.
