Eddie's Pago Pago was located at 131 E. First St. in Long Beach. Both this postcard (probably from the late 1940's), and also their matchcover boasts "It rains at Pago Pago", suggesting the club incorporated the idea of simulated indoor tropical rainstorms. The bamboo trimmed ceilings, carved warclubs above the bar, tropical mural in the back of the bar, and bamboo clad exterior show the early stylings of what was to come in Polynesian-themed bars & restaurants in later years.
