Created by the "Bali Hai Boys", Hugh Kelley, Don "Muk" McCallum and Jay Carlisle, the Bali Hai hotel family consisted of the Hotel Bali Hai Moorea (opened in 1962), Hotel Bali Hai Raiatea (opened in 1964), and Hotel Bali Hai Huahine (opened in 1972-73).
